Fawcett Elu

Director and Contracts Manager

With over 20 years as a welder, founder Fawcett Elu brings a strong blend of management, technical, and communication skills to every project he works on.

He started his career as a sheet metal welder for a fabrication company in Avondale, Auckland where he completed his apprenticeship and received his welding ticket. He then established Force Line Engineering in 2017.

The turning point for the business was securing several projects with Tegel which have enabled the business to grow and take on three additional staff.

Fawcett brings his passion for creating and fabricating metal to every project which is underpinned by his genuine love for his customers.

Notably, Fawcett and his wife, Dawn, founded the Fall on Soil Trust which is focused on bringing apprentices into the business and building much-needed capability.

Keith has nearly two decades of experience in engineering and welding, specialising in fabricating and manufacturing commercial stainless steel dishwashers.

Formerly a supervisor for one of West Auckland's largest sheet metal fabrication teams, Keith enjoys the industry’s variety and challenges.

For Keith, each project is unique, turning raw materials into a useful reality.

A natural problem solver, John has a key role in developing solutions for our customers that deliver the best combination of value and quality.

Tau Vaai

Tupulaga Tula'i Initiative Apprentice

Tau’s journey into sheet metal fabrication began after his university studies overseas, joining Force Line Engineering and diving into the challenges of the trade.

Currently in his second year of apprenticeship as part of the Fall on Soil trust initiative, Tau thrives on the constant problem-solving demanded by each new project.

He prides himself in his ability to work efficiently while still maintaining high-quality standards and prioritising safety.

At Force Line Engineering, our "Tupulaga Tula'i" initiative empowers unskilled Pacific Island youth by providing hands-on training in fabrication and related trades.

We mentor these individuals, equipping them with the skills and support needed to establish their own businesses, fostering a new generation of skilled professionals and entrepreneurs within the Pacific Island community.
